What I'm looking for is a step by step guide on how to get this combination of hardware and VM to work. Using VX Manager when I click 'Update Licence' I get a message 'The license is invalid, please update or contact the dealer to confirm this is a valid device' Whilst my install is a VM I was somewhat refering to this guide. I am suspecting this is some sort of licence issue. When I enter the VIN I am able to progress and I know there is some car connectivity as the ABS light is flashing etc, and I hear clicking of modules etc.Ģ) VIDA cannot connect to any of the modules.
Comments, suggestions, additions welcome. A write up and some resources of my VIDA install along with the use of a VCX NANO, as opposed to a DICE. However these are my issues ġ) The car cannot be autodetected. HOWTO: Install VIDA on W10 with VXDIAG VCX NANO. I just used the 2014d versions of all of those and it installed like a charm. the two setup.exe files request the key, the patch requests the key and vida monitor requests the key. Literally took me 5 minutes to bypass the USB key.
VIDA is running ok on the VM, and it can see the VXDIAG tool ok. So i took a punt and bought the Vida2015a with USB key being sold online now. I first put the VM on a Windows 10 PC, but had some issues, I've since put it on an Ubuntu machine as I assume this might be cleaner.īoth builds are working and I've been able to sort the USB connectivity out. I bought a VXDIAG VCX NANO from Ali Express as a suggestion from this page. I bought a VIDA 2014D Virtual Machine image from this site. I'm relatively tech savy, but new to the world of VIDA DICE etc. Hi all, I've recently bought a new V70 T5 and whilst I had a V70 before I do need VIDA to work through some issues.
